How To Check If Prospect's Credit Card Is Authorized In PureEHR?



Introduction To Credit Card Authorization Of Prospects


Pure EHR provides a separate functionality for managing credit card authorization for the Prospect patient (prospector is a patient who has been registered to the software by a source other than the main administrative office, or who hasn't been enrolled by a provider). The user can check the card authorization status of the prospect by using the Card Authorization of Prospects module. 


Accessing Credit Card Authorization of Prospects


  1. Click on the Reports as shown below.


  1. Now click on Card Authorization of Prospect as shown below. 

  1. The list of the patient will be shown under. By default, it will show a list of all the patients. The user will be redirected to the patient chart after clicking on the ChartID under the Medical Chart ID column.


Using Filters


  1. Select the date range for which you want to search patients as shown below.

  1. Select the Source as shown below

  1. Select the Authorization Status as shown below.

  1. Further, if the user needs to search for a specific patient then that can also be done using the search box as shown below. 

  1. Now click on the Search button as shown below.

  1. By clicking on the Clear button as shown below, the filters that were selected will be erased.

  1. Desired output will be generated as shown below. 


Send A $1 Verification Email 


  1. To send a $1 verification email, click on the send $1 verification email icon under the Actions column as shown below

  1. An email will be sent to the registered email address as shown below.


Authorizing Credit Card(By Patient)


  1. Click on the Authorize Now button from the email that the patient received. 

  2. The patient will be redirected to the screen where they can authorize their credit card as below.

  1. Enter the credit card details and click on the Authorize button as shown in the above image.

  2. Your credit card will be authorized successfully. 


Sending Multiple Emails At A Time


  1. Multiple emails can also be sent by clicking on the Checkboxes under the Actions column. To select all patients at once click on the checkbox as shown below.

  1. To select specific patients, check the respective checkboxes as shown below. 

  1. Now click on the Send Mail button as shown below and the mail will be sent to multiple patients. 


View Email Template


  1. To view the email template that the system is sending to the patients, click on the Show email template icon under the Actions column as shown below.

  1. The user can view the email template as shown below
