How To Check Remittance In PureEHR?



Introduction 


After the claims are submitted, ERA and EOB are received in form of remittance. This remittance report contains the information regarding claim submission date, trace number, insurance company, number of claims submitted, insurance amount paid, adjusted amount, and patient responsibility which includes copay details, coinsurance details, and deductibles details. 


Accessing Remittance Report


  1. Click on the Reports from the main menu.

  2. Go to the Remittance Reports tab.


Using Filters


  1. To view ERA, EOB, or Patient Payment reports, use the below-given filter. 

  1. Searching of ERA and EOB with Trace number can also be done using Trace # below shown filter.

  1. To view ERA and EOB on Posted Date, Check Date, and EOB Deposite Date use the following filter.

  1. Searching ERA and EOB with insurance company name can be done using the Insurance Company filter shown below. 

  1. Searching ERA and EOB with insurance company names can be done using the Patient filter as shown below.

  1.  The user can also use the date range filter as shown below. 

  1. After entering the filter details, click on the Save button as shown below. 

  1. The corresponding result will be displayed as shown below.


Attach EOB


  1. Click on the Attach EOB icon under the Actions column as shown below.

  1. Choose the Scanned copy of EOB as shown below.

  1. Click on the Attach EOB button as shown below. 

  1. After uploading the EOB, an icon to view the EOB will be generated as shown below. 

  1. Click on the icon and the uploaded EOB file will be viewed. 


View ERA List


ERA List is used to viewing patient details that are received in remittance

To view the ERA List follow the below-given steps:

  1. Click on the Trace Number under the Check/Trace # as shown below. 

  1. After clicking on the number, the following screen will be displayed.

  1. Here, the list of all the patients will be listed along with details like appointment date, check date, billed amount, adjusted amount, patient responsibility, paid amount, and adjustment reason. 

  2. To search the patient using trace number, use the trace # searchbox and click on the Search button as shown below.
