How To Check The Claim Status Of Submitted Claims In PureEHR?



Accessing the Claim Report


  1. Click on the Reports from the main menu.

  2. Go to the Claim Report tab. 


Using Filters


  1. To view claims of specific billing status, use the Billing Status filter as shown below. 

  1. To view claims of specific offices, use the Office filter as shown below. 

  1. To view claims of specific claim status, use the Claim Status filter as shown below.

  1. To view claims of specific appointment profiles, use Appt. Profile as shown below. 

  1. Select the date range according to your requirement as shown below.

  1. The respective field will be populated based on the selected filters as shown below.

  1. An ā€œiā€ icon will be displayed against the claim reference as shown below. This means that this claim will be processed when the next batch will be uploaded. 


Checking Missing Required Fields 


  1. Click on the reference number as shown below.

  1. This will open a popup that will show the list of the fields as shown below.

  1. The mandatory fields which are missing will be displayed in the red background as shown below. 

  1. To view the patient chart click on the patient name under the Patient column as shown below.

  1. To view appointment details, click on the appointment date under the Date of Service column as shown below.


Meaning of Different Claim Statuses 


  1. Claims whose Claim Status is Not Claimed, means that the claims are not claims.

  2. Claims whose Claim Status is Not claimed due to missing details means that claims are not claimed due to missing details. 

  3. Claims whose Claim Status is Rejected by clearing house means that claims are rejected by the clearing house.

  4. Claims whose Claim Status is Reclaimed means that claims are reclaimed after sending editing claims to the clearing house.

  5. Claims whose Claim Status is Remit Received, means that remit is received of the claims that were submitted.

  6. Claims whose Claim Status is Requested for Resubmission, means that the claims are resubmitted.


Assign Billing Status 


  1. Check the below-shown checkbox to change the billing status of all the claims.

  1. Individual claims can also be selected by checking on the claims which user wants to consider as shown below.

  1. Now change the billing status by selecting Assign Billing Status and then click on the Update button as shown below.
