How To Edit A Clinical Note In PureEHR?
To edit clinical notes follow the below steps
First search for the patient from the Search Box situated in the top right corner or from the Patient List in Patients situated in the top left corner.
Now click on the Clinical Notes button as shown below.
Select the appointment from the left menu and click on the Edit Icon as shown below.
Now click on the notes Template in which you want to edit the clinical notes as shown below.
To sign and lock the note, click on the Sign and Lock button as shown below.
After clicking on the button, the system will ask for confirmation to sign and lock the note. Click on the “Yes, want to sign and lock this note!” button as shown below.
As and when the note is locked, the status will be changed to Locked as shown below.
To send the note to the patient, click on the Send to Patient Portal from the left menu as shown below.
One cannot edit the Locked note, if you want to change the note after it is Locked then you have to write it as an amendment. To write the amendment, click on the Amendments button.
Fill in all the details and click on the Save button as shown below and your amendment is saved successfully.
To edit the rejected amendment, click on the Edit button, under the Status column as shown below. Edit the details and click on the Save button.
