How To Modify ICD-10 Codes, CPT Codes, NDC Codes And Modifiers For A General Appointment In PureEHR?
Accessing the Patient Chart
To update Billing codes for an individual appointment follow the below-mentioned steps:
Search the patient name from the search box as shown below
This will redirect you to the patient chart of the searched patients.
Accessing the Appointments
Now go to the Appointment tab from the left menu as shown below.
Now click on the Edit Appointment icon as shown below.
It will redirect the user to the below shown page.
Now click on the Billing tab as shown below
Modifying the ICD-10 Codes
To modify ICD-10 Codes delete the existing code by clicking on the Delete icon under the Actions column.
Now user can add new ICD-10 codes from the ICD-10 Codes search box as shown below.
Modifying the CPT Codes
To modify CPT Codes delete the existing code by clicking on the Delete icon under the Actions column.
Now user can also add CPT codes and modifiers from the CPT Codes search box and Modifiers box respectively as shown below.
To delete an existing modifier, simply click on the Modifier box and backspace the already added modifier and then enter a new modifier as shown below.
Similarly, ICD10 Dx Ptrs, Quantity, and Price can be added.
Modifying the NDC Codes
To remove the previously added NDC Code, click on the Delete icon under the Actions column, as shown below.
Now again click on the +NDC button as shown below and then Package Code, Quantity, and Units can be added.
Users can also add Custom Codes from the Custom Procedure search box.
After modifying the codes, click on the Save button and your records will be added successfully.
