How To Write An Amendment In PureEHR?
What happens if you sign a clinical note and then need to make a change or add information without unlocking it? Through amendments, you can easily make any adjustments or changes. The clinical note's amendments are added at the end. The existing note is preserved, while new information is recorded on a separate page attached to the note. This article will show you how to write an amendment.
Go to the search box and search for the patient whose amendments you want to write.
Now click on the Clinical Notes button as shown below.
To write an amendment for any note, the note has to be locked first.
Click on the Amendment icon from the left menu as shown below for the appointment you want to write an amendment.
Fill in the details and click the Save button as shown below.
NOTE: if the status is selected as Rejected, one can edit an amendment, and if the status is selected as Accepted, one cannot edit an amendment.
